Leelanau Ski Club

Leelanau Ski Club is a family oriented cooperative of coaches, parents and children. Leelanau Ski Club is a nonprofit organization (501C3) whose main purpose and objectives are:

• To develop confidence, physical skill and sportsmanship
• To develop friendship and camaraderie among youth and families
• To evaluate and teach ski and snowboard and racing skills and maximize potential talent
• To furnish area youth with top notch Alpine Ski and Snowboard instruction
• To promote winter enjoyment and outdoor activity for families, for a lifetime

Instructions for signing up for Leelanau Ski Club

1. Print Leelanau Ski Club Application – fill out completely
2. Print Leelanau Ski Club Release Form – fill out and sign
3. Look over 2009-2010 Crystal Mountain Ticket Prices – choose one
4. Look over Skiing & Snowboarding Ability Levels and fill in where your child falls – best of your knowledge
5. Mail application, release of liability and check in to LSC, PO Box 57, Lake Leelanau, MI 49653
6. See you on the slopes!!!

Here are the programs we are offering this season (all programs are held at Crystal Mountain):

Race Academy

For youth ages 4-15 yr. olds that want to attend races and train to be in a race course.
Schedule: Wednesdays and Fridays, 4:30pm to 6:30pm and Sundays, 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Starting December 16th thru the 2nd week in March.
Cost: $250

Learn to Race

For youth ages 4-15 yr. olds that want to learn more about being in a race course and have the chance to go to races.
Schedule: Fridays, 6:30pm to 8pm and Sundays, 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Starting December 18th thru the 2nd week in March.
Cost: $175

Advanced Snowboard Club

For youth ages 10-15 yr. olds that want to enter into the terrain park and more advanced riding.
Schedule: Fridays, 6:30pm to 8pm and Sundays, 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Starting December 18th thru the 2nd week in March.
Cost: $175

Learn to Ski/Snowboard

For youth ages 4-15 yr. olds that want to develop their skills in either sport.
Schedule: Sundays, 3:30pm to 6:30pm
Starting December 20th thru the 2nd week in March.
Cost: $125
